Learning
Here you can learn more about our Museum-based activities, on-site facilities, and learning resources. The Museum's rich and varied collections allow us to present money as a fascinating cross-curricular topic. We have consulted widely with teachers and other education professionals to develop an inspiring, accessible education service.
What we offer
Young people visiting the Museum engage in hands-on activities based around our extensive collection of original artefacts. These sessions are free of charge.
We are happy to adapt our sessions for people of all ages. Our sessions are led by dynamic and skilled Museum team members who are trained in delivering accessible sessions to those with additional support needs.
We are able to welcome a maximum group size of 33.
We also offer interactive, hands-on digital workshops. These are entirely free of charge and include handling materials that help bring the subject of money to life.
Our online resource Money Marvels includes videos and activities that support the teaching of money as an interdisciplinary topic.
