Scout and Guide sessions
Bring your Colony, Pack, or Troop to Museum on the Mound for a two hour exclusive Saturday morning visit before we open to the public.

Scout Saturdays are predominantly designed to help Beavers and Cubs prepare for their Money Skills badge through tailor made sessions covering a wide range of the badge syllabus. Your group will be rotated around three different sessions, covering topics such as unusual types of money, how to keep your money safe, and making a money themed badge to take home.
We will also provide a range of pre-visit activities to cover other areas of the badge syllabus that we do not cover during the sessions.
The sessions run between 10am and 12pm on Saturday mornings, and we can accommodate a maximum of 25 children at a time (with accompanying adults). They are free of charge but must be pre-booked. Please note, we currently have very limited availability.
We also offer self-guided activities for Cubs and Brownies to do when visiting with friends or family. The King David Discovery trail could help with some of the criteria of the Local History and Local Knowledge badges, and is available from the museum welcome desk.
Please note – we are currently fully booked, and will list booking details once we are able to take more.
